sort of following up on another thread but Where should Pitt be in the ACC hierarchy? I realize we are all a bit biased but in my opinion the following schools should be better than Pitt. I base this on resources, branding, history, local talent etc..
Clemson, FSU, Miami should easily be better than Pitt.
The next tier would be Vtech UVA and UNC.
I would follow then with Pitt and UL..
The rest....
I may be forgetting a school but Pitt is really where they should be in terms of ACC success.. Does not mean we can't do better... we can. Lack of local talent is hurting Pitt, and the fact we don't recruit the other side of the state well at all is troubling. I think what is sooooo frustrating is how close we seem to be.. All our expectations are to win the coastal.. I get it, but lets not be so myopic not to see the other programs and what they can offer athletes.
I don't care about nationally.. Become a regular ACC coastal champ and the national perception will come along with it..
