Was down 3.
Poor defense by Guillermo leads to Reid basket to make it 5.
Then Lowe with an awful turnover makes it 7
Then Austin with awful turnover to make it 9.
Poor shooting by Lowe and Leggett. Hence the 9 pt deficit again.

That wasn't Guillermo's fault, that was Austin not rotating over to cover when Pitt hedged the screen.

And you can blame Lowe for picking up his dribble in a bad spot, but literally none of his teammates moved even one inch to come to the ball to give him a target to pass to. They all just stood there and looked at him.

But outside of Duke and MSU , Pitt closed late in the half

If we play true to form, we will now have a 40 point second half and it will come down to playing defense and not fouling

Went up 39-34 but Wake had a 16-4 run to go back up by 7 and Pitt never led again. The early spurts in both halves continue to force Pitt to play from behind and need stops in the last few minutes. We got some against UNC, but couldn’t against Louisville, Clemson in OT or today.

Meh... he picked up his dribble - THAT was his fault, but why none of his teammates even attempted to bail him out by moving towards the ball is a head scratcher.
