Anyone else receive an email from the pitt fundraising department to reach out and meet to discuss heather lykes vision for pitt athletics. They are reaching out to ticket holders, donors and anyone referals.

First time I ever received a contact like that.

I just wanted to see because this is something some on this board have been requesting in order to give. And in the email I got, it was for ticket buyers, donors of all levels, and it asked for any refferals as well. They are willing to personally meet you, get a cup of coffee and discuss the vision of the athletic department.

I'm guessing though many will further move the goal posts for what they want .

I got something like this from the Alumni Association a few years ago but haven't gotten anything the Athletic Dept. I took it as a "sales call." Your rep will meet with you, try to pretend they are listening to you for 10 minutes and ask you for more money. I mean I think they SHOULD be doing that but I wasn't interested. If Athletics contacted me, I'd go and tell them to put the $300 million towards a football stadium and volleyball is fine at the Field House.

yeah, somebody reached out to me last year, we met for lunch and had a great discussion. we've kept in touch since and she's been a great contact to have in the athletic department. it has been a very refreshing change from my experience with athletic department pre-Heather Lyke.

My God, let it go. She has no control over this. It's all about money, so whenever they want you to play, you play. If you want us to have more control, I guess you would be fine if we went to D1AA?
