Last nights panther lair pod cast had a comment that provoked more thought when Chris Peak stated Pitt has not been pushed around and over matched in any game this year. That comment imo was accurate and then I started thinking then that suggests coaching is flawed. We all know coaching is a problem from team not being prepared, poor discipline due to penalties and poor game plan and mid game adjustments.

How can current coaching staff address these flaws and save a season from becoming a losing season? I go through the season and every game on the schedule looks like a dog fight minus a Clemson loss. Pitt in order to go 6-5 means they need to go 3-2 is that realistic at this point? As I’m disappointed no different than other folks on the board it’s clear year 6 of Narduzzi tenure is at a cross roads and some folks are eager to say Pitt is close and Narduzzi can right this ship while some say buyout too large to fire him. I think both groups make solid points but changes need to be made.

It’s time for folks to suggest changes they want to see in order to stay engaged as a fan. The change that I think will bare most fruit is in hiring a new AD that has a football pedigree and can challenge Narduzzi to be a better HC. Football is the tide that lifts all boats in the athletic department and when football fails that falls on AD shoulders. You don’t like my suggestion fine but rather that attack me share what your ideas are to turn football program around doing nothing but whining wont change a failed culture.
