One thing here that always backfires... Don't tell people what to NOT say. You always open yourself up for insults. People will say what they want, post what they want. Any attempts to limit this, will not work. If you don't like drama queen posts, ignore or reply with a counter argument. Telling them to stop it will only increase such posts.

I'm just tired of waiting to get back to respectability. 9-10 win season should be the norm here. Hell, if Wisconsin can pull it off, there is 0 reason Pitt can't. We celebrate an 8 win season like its an ACC championship. Between that and recruiting L's....I'm just fed up.

In a few years, Wisky will be Pitt and Pitt will be Wisky. Coach Mumbles and The Duzz, respectively, will see to that. Bank on it.

Look, I was disappointed Saturday but I think most of us had OkSt as a loss going into the season. They're not playing great football on defense. That's easy to see. I just can't lose my mind over one game. Same deal with Jeter. One kid. Yeah, it sucks when a kid looks like a get and ends up somewhere else but it happens.

Let's face it, we have guys posting like the Narduzzi era is already off the rails. Give the guy and the kids a freaking chance.

Some thoughts:
Not sure why everyone was saying Jeter was a lock to go to Pitt. A bit disappointing, but Hendrix and Blair will be back - so all is not lost.

A bit of a head scratcher to see how close to the line the coaches had the corners playing in the first half, knowing full well their QB was going to keep throwing it deep. Still, I see a lot to like about this team and these coaches. It's only the third game and the only loss was very close to being a win.

Orndoff and Peterman really need to get to work in practice with new and improved routes. Orndoff is way too talented not to be a top option for Nate. Also, the coaches would be wise to use the more Jet sweeps even more (particularly with Henderson and Whitehead), until an opponent figures out how to stop it.

I think Tipton will prove to be pretty good. Too bad he wasn't two inches taller. That last interception that went off his fingertips would have been a catch.

OSU may very well end up winning a lot of games. Anyway, I hope so.

Looking forward to seeing if Pitt responds by taking it to NC.
