Was watching Cal/NC St a few weeks ago and they showed a guy in the Cal student section wearing a Pitt shirt. Looked to be a student.
Good for him. That’s awesome. I kinda feel like he can do that there but if he were to do that in Morgantown, he’d have chew spit all over him and that would be the least of his problems.

Haha, definitely. I've been to multiple concerts in Bryce Jordan with Pitt attire on and I didn't get one comment except from another dude in a Pitt shirt. Had I done that in Morgantown I'd have been on a spitroast rotating over a fire while five drunken hillbillies wrestler over who gets a drumstick.
There's an argument to be made that Penn State is in the playoff win or lose (odds are they win out after today) but an Ohio State loss might keep them out of the playoff.
I'm sure most Pitt fans are still for Ohio State, but it makes things interesting anyway.
Yeah I can’t see a scenario PSU doesn’t make it, outside of a complete collapse and losing to the mediocre teams in the league that they never seem to lose to. Heck they might still make it with two losses. Which would be frustrating because that would still mean that they beat nobody.
A PSU loss today means nothing to them and that’s the shame of it all. The shame being they benefit from a soft schedule and B10 media hype machine.
11–1 Penn St gets in 100% and they won’t even have to bother with playing an extra game in B10 Championship in that scenario.

Yeah, this game is only about whether or not they're in it for a bye. Heck, they would still have to beat Oregon to get that so it's probable that they end up in a very similar spot (5-7 range) regardless of whether they win or lose today.
Ohio State, on the other hand, could be in some trouble if they lose today. They have beat absolutely nobody this season. So if they lose to India or if Indiana loses before that game and diminishes the quality of potential win for OSU, they should be out.
Is there a reason to root for PSU? Lol. I’ve never done that in my life. Ever.
A 2-loss Ohio State helps Pitt’s prospects. OSU had the worst OOC schedule in the country and they have no quality wins. A 1-loss ACC will likely be ranked ahead of a 2-loss Ohio State.
You were brainwashed by the removal of Penn State sucks from the fight song. Which also removed fight pitt fight from the fight song. Not very fighty of a song anymore.
