Pitt has picked up a commitment from Dylan Wester, one of the top slot wide receivers in the class of 2026.
Wester — a 5-foot-10, 160-pound three-star wide receiver from Booker High in Sarasota, Fla. — committed to Pitt on Friday afternoon, in the midst of a visit to Pittsburgh for spring practice. He’s the third commit in the class.
Wester holds offers from Buffalo, Delaware, ECU, FAU, Liberty, Marshall, North Carolina State, Pitt, Toledo, USF, Wake Forest and Yale.

Wester spent time at practice on Thursday, spending time with offensive coordinator Kade Bell and wide receivers coach JJ Laster, and it's the continuation of a strong bond that has been forged since an official offer on Jan. 21.
Wester fits the mold of what the Pitt coaching staff wants out of its wide receivers, offering an exciting blend of speed and agility out wide.
He was a top playmaker on both sides of the ball at Booker as a junior, racking up over 1,000 all-purpose yards and eight touchdowns on offense and adding two tackles for loss, 10 pass breakups and a forced fumble on defense.
Wester is the third commitment in the class for the Panthers, following three-star quarterback Angelo Renda (Southlake, Tx.) and three-star safety Isaac Patterson (Westerville, Ohio).
