I agree and was so happy they went for it on 4th and 1 on the 50. Finally took a chance. If we could be a little more aggressive offensively late the sky is the limit. Defense has done a 180 in a short amount of time. So glad Chryst is gone!!!

Coach Pat & Defensive Staff did more in 4 Games than Graham, & Chryst did in 4 Years?

The Defense won this game and sure VT is not looking good, but one can see the Pitt players are improving every game.

Yep, The Pitt Panthers Players played sloppy with mistakes, but came through in the end when the Game was on the Line at Virginia Tech against 28 Year Great Coach & Program!

Two weeks ago the Pitt Panthers Players came back and tied the game and lost to a Second Record Kick in Iowa Football History to a 17 Year Great Coach & Program Away Too!

Pitt and Coach Pat & Staff just won their first Conference Game as Franklin did against Rutgers and WVU is still waiting on to do!

Shell was a higher recruit than Conner or Ollison and I would take them both over Shell too. Another reason Narduzzi is a perfect fit. He's proven he can get a bunch of 3 stars and turn them into an outstanding defense like he did at Michigan State. Star rankings aren't everything when it comes to recruiting. The way he coaches kids up to their potential is the most important thing.

I'm sorry but this defense played so freaking well and gave the offense great field position too many times for a good offense not to score at least 27 points.

I don't think Peterman was the problem with the offense. But Voytik was not used to his full potential.

Sure Tyler didn't play his best game and there were 2 fumbles by RBs, but still I think some of the play calling (with the personnel on the field at the time) was tripping the offense up----- Too many strange calls inserted that stopped momentum during a number of different series - including far too many run plays for Peterson on 1st 2nd and 3rd and long.

I cannot agree more, and your comments above spot on as usual, but Pitt is improving on all 3 Units unlike the last 3 years, not just on 1 as under Chryst.

Pitt Players are finishing games on Offense and Defense and even has better Special Teams under Coach Pat & Staff!

Wisconsin is not saying that today, neither is WVU and Penn State?

Big difference between a Coach that loves being at Pitt versus another that could not wait to leave?
