The play in game i believe is only for bubble teams. Gonzaga won their conference tourney.Based on the rankings isn't it odd the committee has Tulsa in the "play in game" rather than Gonzaga?

Thanks. I get what you are saying. Just strange that the lowest ranked Conf Tourney winners (FGCU/FDU & Holy Cross/Southern) don't get that same protection. The play in game i believe is only for bubble teams. Gonzaga won their conference tourney.

That is a fair way to handle itThat was the compromise when they went to 68 teams. The four play in games would be two games between the four worst conference winners and two games between the four worst at large teams.

In theory we should be playing that Oregon st team then
I think Wisconsin is a better matchup for Pitt than Oregon State would've been.Wouldn't have minded that at all. Payton is a hell of a player, but Tinkle is all banged up. Would've been a good matchup for Pitt.
