I was at that game, Pitt was a 10 pt. or so favorite but UNC had a AA RB K. Bryant that helped keep the game close. Also Pitt beat UNC at the stadium in 1977 and I think it may have been Fred Jacobs who had a big game. Unfortunately made the trip to NC in 1974 or 1975 and UNC upset Pitt.

I'd take any win in these next 3 games to edge closer to bowl eligibility. The PITT D should be able to force the Freshman QB to make a few mistakes; hopefully the D Line can create some pressure and continue to look pretty good against the run. Dinucci needs to avoid the late throws to the inside of the receiver like we've seen in recent weeks against UVA and NCSU.
