Pitt will lose this game if they don't tighten up on the boards. Can't count on your team to keep shooting like this.
Defense was ok in the first half. Hit a lot of tough shots and gathered far too many of the misses. If we can hold them off the offensive boards in the second half we win by 20+ easy.
I'd like to see some more Luther and maybe Maia. Nelson-Ododa really does nothing on the glass. I think Luther is almost always a spark off the bench, Maia i don't know what's up. Possibly not getting playing time because he's still recovering from injuries?
I don't know about Johnson. Jones though yeah, not having a very good game.
Well, looks like JRob read all the posts after last game and took it to heart.
Let's see how he plays against Purdue. If he gives us the same points and assists I like our chances. The big question is IF.
I don't know, since the game in Hawaii last year he's been pretty bad from deep. Needless to say, I agree that he doesn't need to be shooting threes. We have plenty of deep threats besides him.
I think it's telling that you only ever really talk about Robinson when you have a chance to jump on him for having a "bad game."
I'm sorry I don't have the same opinion as you, my bad. Would you like me to agree with every single post you write? Here, let me state it out for you very clearly:
I think James Robinson has underachieved here, has not lived up to any hype that a bunch of you were saying was better than Levance (that still cracks me up by the way)and that's MY OPINION.
I guess when he can't attack Robinson he feels the need to attack players (Maia) and posters instead.
I have no problem with people disagreeing so long as they can articulate a reason why beyond "disagree" or "he sucks."
Are you serious?? There are like 5 or 6 regulars on here that attack me all the time and have done it for years. Sometimes the posts get deleted and sometimes they don't. And you are going to comment on me??? Get a clue before you comment on something you know nothing about.
You can't even bring yourself to say JR had a good game. Still got to dig. Pretty telling you have an agenda with hi.
Of course he had a good game. I indirectly said it when I mentioned that if he puts up the same numbers against Purdue we will win the game. No agenda at all, just don't really care for him as our point guard. Excited about Wilson next year.
If James puts up 16 and 10 all year he'd be in the talk for All american. Expecting or demanding that kind of production is silly. What I like from James this season is that he's being more aggressive. I'd rather him go 0-9 like he did against Cornell than go 1-3 from the field like he did in a lot of games last season. Teams are gonna double young and Artis a lot, and James will have a lot of open looks. Needs to take them.
