I knew that Tino Sunseri had left Alabama and became the QB Coach at James Madison, but I did not know before today that former Pitt WR Mike Shanahan (31 y/o) was named their offensive coordinator this spring. So far, they’re 4-0 and Shanahan’s offense is the fifth best in FCS.
He’s definitely a name we should keep an eye on in the coming years, but what’re some other names worth monitoring? I know of several former Pitt MBB alums in the coaching ranks but don’t know nearly as many nowadays for football.
