Once again, Pitt is still rebuilding it Program and Recruiting in just its 3rd Year under Narduzzi and 5th Year in the ACC. This is shown by just seeing the New Additions to Recruiting Vacancies and now How a Pitt's Harley the Linebacker Coach is given more duties instead of a New Hire.
Pitt has the Stable ACC Budget Resources to build the Program but it takes time to win more and recruit more higher ranked classes. Clemson did it and so can Pitt. The 2017 Schedule will reveal how far Pitt is along and how far it has to go to become a Top 25 Ranked Team and Top 25 Program for the future. Coach Pat Narduzzi now has everyone in place and they will be tested like never before in 2017 after losing 13 Starters.

Pitt coach Pat Narduzzi added more manpower to his team's recruiting efforts Wednesday when linebackers coach Rob Harley was handed the additional responsibilities of recruiting coordinator.......Harley, who enters his third season on Narduzzi's staff, will lead a recruiting department that includes director of recruiting Mark Diethorn, director of player personnel Graham Wilbert and veteran staff member Bob Junko, the director of player development/high school relations. “I have known Rob for six years dating back to our time at Michigan State and from the very beginning I was always so impressed with his communication skills and relentless work ethic,” Narduzzi said in a statement. “Rob owns great vision and insight on today's recruiting and has the ability to make us innovative in our efforts to attract the best student-athletes to Pitt. Rob has the DNA to lead others and with this coordinator title he has earned the right to lead our recruiting department.”.....“We have an unbelievable staff made up of driven people and I believe that sets us apart from every other program in the nation,” he said in a statement. “It will be my job to help organize, structure and guide our recruiting department to be as efficient and effective as possible. When our coaches have elite student-athletes to work with, the sky is the limit for Pitt football. This is a tremendous responsibility that I do not take lightly, and I'm looking forward to meeting coach Narduzzi's high expectations when it comes to recruiting the best student-athletes in the country.”....
