there's an asterisk that says time and network will be determined after 10/31 games, so this isn't set in stone
I'm not sure who is right here, but the ACC site linked is very clear that times and network for 4 games on that day (including Pitt) ARE NOT SET.The time is set, the network is not

No. The time and network will be determined after this weekend. The time is set, the network is not

AGAIN - according to the ACC the TIME and NETWORK will not be finalized until after the 10/31 games!!!!!!!Its really unbelievable that the ACC couldn't get big-time games, Pitt/ND or FSU/Clemsib in prime time. Ohio State is playing their 3rd high school team in 4 weeks on ABC Saturday Night Football. I'm sorry but I just cant believe that OSU Minny gets better ratings than FSU Clemson or Pitt ND. Why would anybody watch the 2nd-4th quarters of the OSU blowout?
This is not true. The time is finalized. The Network is not.AGAIN - according to the ACC the TIME and NETWORK will not be finalized until after the 10/31 games!!!!!!!
I don't know, plus their 7p games are MSU @ NEB and ISU @ OK.
So the ACC.com lied? Please link where it says the time is finalized. This is not true. The time is finalized. The Network is not.
The only games where the kick time is subject to change are those with an "OR" next to their game time. For example. NC vs BC could be Noon OR 12:30 because that is how it is listed. So the ACC.com lied? Please link where it says the time is finalized.
I choose to read it as it is stated - there is an * next to the Pitt game, right? And if you go to the asterisk it says TIME and NETWORK are not finalized. The operative word there for me is AND. It very well may be a noon start, but I'm not going to assume anything is finalized until after the 10/31 games. The only games where the kick time is subject to change are those with an "OR" next to their game time. It is very confusing with how they listed what a * means. The kick will be at Noon. 100%.I choose to read it as it is stated - there is an * next to the Pitt game, right? How are you so sure? ESPN hasn't listed anything yet. All I'm asking for is a link that the ACC and ESPN have set schedules for that day - or at least a set schedule for Pitt.It is very confusing with how they listed what a * means. The kick will be at Noon. 100%.

Ok - that's fine. Just reading the link as it is written.Pitt-girl, you may be technically reading it correctly but you are clearly missing the intent. Some games have OR with their game time. Some have OR with their network. Those are the things that are still undetermined. The information that does not include an OR have already been decided.
We are playing at noon. The only question for us is if the game will be on ABC, ESPN or ESPN2.
This sucks, I hate noon games. Why can't we ever at least get a 4:00 game? If not night? That's why I'm ok with Thursday games, I like to watch at night.
Probably because LSU vs Bama is on CBS at the same time. That is going to blow the ratings away.
I was thinking of coming to this one if it was a night game, but you're right, my daughter's soccer game that day is 11:30am, and yes, that is way more important, so I'll have to DVR Pitt/ND and watch it later that evening. I may come to the Miami game, I can get FREE tickets to that one for sure.Please. You wouldn't come regardless of the time. Daughter soccer season and all
Pitt/ND beats LSU Bama in the NE and MW so I wouldnt say that.
Pitt website shows Noon, however ESPN's schedule of games shows all of them as TBD...I hope for a 3:30 or 7:00.
Could the Steeler game at 1:00 the next day be a factor?
Pompieni thinks one of the reasons is the Steelers 1pm start time the next day.
Or MSU @ NEB and ISU @ OK @7p? It does seem bizarre.
