Pitt really could use a win tomorrow in the Sun Bowl (a brand name) against Stanford (a brand name) on CBS (a brand name). Will really help with perception.

Narduzzi just needs that first bowl victory. I still don’t think these bowl games are anywhere near as important as any ordinary conference game, but it’s obviously better to win them. Sun Bowl is a pretty decent bowl game too, a victory there paired with a division championship, pretty good year and with the ACC coaching carousel at full speed the future looks pretty good here.

he reported this am that it's a very similar weather day to the game 10 years ago. Very windy! Stanford is more a passing team than us (as just about every team is), so hopefully that bodes well for us. Unless Duz consulted with Wanny and Cav on the game plan
