Wanted to start a thread for anyone to throw out any ideas to make the Pitt NIL company a big success. I assume Bickell and the powers to be that are spinning this up have their eyes on the lair and perhaps we can provide some valuable feedback for what would make people join or things that’d we’d like to see in the venture.
If anyone has ideas please add on to the list below as I pulled some of the things people mentioned in the other thread to start a list. I assume a lot of these have already been thought of but maybe we can help with some additional ideas that will help it be a big success.
1. Monthly tier subscriptions with different piece of swag/benefits depending on donation level
2. Name: Golden Panthers would be a home run and already has brand recognition. I doubt this will be used just based on some of the negative connotation but I think it would be awesome if they went with this.
3. Media content. Additional player interviews/podcasts/videos.
4. All encompassing from minnows to whales for broad support.
5. Social media strategy. Announce names or pantherlair handles every time someone new joins and support level. Make it a d***k measuring contest, I realize not everyone can afford but I’d assume most on here could afford another 9.99 a month. It’s pony up time or quit the SEC pays people complaining.
6. Exclusive events
a. Golf outings - once this is up I’ll loop up with the contact info to see if they would like to host the spring game outing that was discussed.
b. Bowling with the panthers
c. Bring a panther to your kids birthday party
d. Preseason Kick off dinner and post season dinner with some fan choice awards type ceremony.
e. Corn hole tournament
f. Cash bash football bash with autograph signings
g. Corporate speaking and meet and greets
7. Football cards and NFT’s
8. Signed memorabilia
9. I assume somebody is going to be paid to administrate this thing so there will be some overhead costs but I’d think you could crowd source some volunteers to assist with event planning and what not to keep the overhead lower and margin higher. Good way for some people to assist if not from a monetary perspective.
10. Join a position group. @Zeldas Open Roof not satisfied with the linebackers. Sign your money up to allocate additional funds to that group.
