Hmmmnnn......Looks like Pitt & Steelers are doing some same things when it comes to OL....Just a Guess.
Excerpt:
Pitt's offensive line assumed a new look Wednesday at practice. Line coach John Peterson said Alex Officer, who had been a backup right guard for the past week and a half, is starting to get more snaps at center. Peterson also said Alex Bookser “took more snaps at guard (Wednesday) than he had in the past.”......................

Wide receivers Dontez Ford, Quadree Henderson and Jester Weah were labeled “solid starters” by Pitt coach Pat Narduzzi. But he said the competition is far from finished. “Those other guys are making plays, too,” he said. “I think they are solid starters right now, but I don't think there is a whole lot of separation (from the rest of the group). “It's fall camp. It's hard to separate.” Henderson, whose contributions were mainly limited to kickoff returns last season, looks to be a different player, Narduzzi said. “I think you'll see a much improved Quadree Henderson this season,” he said. “He's fast. He's got good wheels.”

HMNNnnnnnnnnn............Looks like Pitt Coaches & Steeler's Coaches still talk when it comes to developing Teams. I recall how many of our Friends East and South in the Big Ten and Big-12 all laughed at Pitt sharing Heinz and UPMC Practice Facilities and all of sudden Munchak of the Steeler's seems to be sharing knowledge with Pitt.

Additionally, recall when Antonio Brown and Emmanuel Sanders was recommended by Pitt Coach Bennett that led to them being drafted in 4th and 6th rounds for the Steelers. A mutual Respect and Benefit no doubt, and Recruits have talked about how that helps them as well.

So is it a coincidence Pitt OL are learning many positions or a tactical strategy learned by Pitt OLC John Peterson with Steeler's OLC Munchak or both???
Whose LOL Now?

Link To Think Below:

Steelers' offensive linemen realize versatility is key for unit to excel in today's NFL
...........
“It's like this every year for our unit,” said Cody Wallace, a guard who started all 16 games at center last season when Pro Bowler Maurkice Pouncey was injured. “It's a good thing for us because it makes us look good in games. It's a tough decision for the GM (Kevin Colbert). Everyone has to play hard because they know if it doesn't work out here, they're get picked up by someone else.”Hubbard and Wallace can play all five positions on the offensive front. And that versatility has virtually assured them of jobs, along with free agent tackle Ryan Harris............

.........
.........In the NFL, versatility on the offensive line has become a must. Injuries to key players have dictated the change, in part, because the league has held firm on not expanding the active roster. “If you want to stick around in this league, you have to move up and down the line,” Wallace said. “(Hubbard) literally plays up and down the line, even a little tight end. He has plenty of value for this team........
.........
Finney, who failed to survive the final cut last year, has played guard and center during training camp. He credits much of the second unit's success to offensive line coach Mike Munchak, who demands knowledge of every offensive line position.
“They say, ‘Hey, we want to do this,' and Munchak makes it work,” Finney said. “He comes to us and says, ‘Hey, this is what we're going to do,' and being able to teach techniques with that and adjust game plans and stuff like that, he's an amazing coach.”
