Pitt-NOTRE DAME Game Day Predictions!

"#99HUGHgreen, post: 489626, member: 4804"]Captain... I am as frustrated about the offense and play calling as just about any Pitt fan, but I do not get you giving a "like" to those who are betting Pitt will lose.
I am not frustrated just very disappointed and still waiting that by this 9th game, Chaney has not pout 4 Quarters of Offense together, does not use Orndoff for High Percentage Passes (15-30 Yards more often, no Whitehead Plays, and has abandon Voytik scheme all together. Yet, I'll leave it to Chaney and Narduzzi to do their way and if they lose the next 4 games, well, they can look at themselves?

Still, when a Poster gives a good comment or score I appreciate he thought about it and that is what I am liking, not that I want ND to win. I can't dismiss good Posting anytime. Just my way and I like discussions to read and scores that have sense behind them, even if Pitt wins or loses.

Something just doesn't seem right about a Pitt fan (especially one who has been a faithful supporter like you) doing such a thing.
Well, I love watching and I have supported Pitt Football all my life, but I respect others opinions and information too, when it shared and reveals some points i did not see? I love learning and I will not condemn someone that may have a different prediction, it is just CFB, not a Life Event?

Let's keep believing in Coach Narduzzi and the Pitt players.
Believing is easy, but up to Narduzzi and Chaney to do the proving, I believed in Harris, Wannstedt, Graham and Chryst too, but when they made mistakes that is still on them, not fans learning the game and why? IOWA & UNC was winnable, and the other games won could have been Losses. Now is the time for coach Pat & Staff step it up, not me!

Let's believe that they are going to respond to their poor effort last week by bringing their best effort all season against ND.
Sorry, I must be honest, I see a bigger and better ND playing better right now, and a Pitt Team a tad down and Coaches working hard and saying the right things, but I still see too many mistakes, no Whitehead, and other problems that should be solved by now?

Also, one would think PN made it clear to Chaney behind doors to use Ollison more often and more wisely in order to wear down ND and get in the end zone... and to have plays drawn up for the offense...should Pitt get the ball with little time left on the clock.
I have read your analysis and follow many of your post here and agree with what you just said above, but again, up to Coach Pat & Chaney to get it done, like Kelly is doing at ND?
In the meantime, if you had to Bet your House or $100,000, would you Bet on Pitt, Coach Pat & Chaney right now?

I don't mind being wrong if Pitt wins, but Chaney has to get that Offense humming, and so far, he has had some trouble as you say, and Coach Pat is on him.

I am quite tired of watch Harris, Wannstedt, Graham, and Chryst Assistants losing close games and ruining Pitt 9 and 10 Win Seasons, and I expect more from coach Pat over them, but he has to prove it, not me!

I appreciate the response, Captain.

Obviously, we are in agreement in terms of "disappointment" with certain aspects of the team.

For the record, I was not suggesting you (or any other Pitt fan) shouldn't respond to post in agreement when someone posts they believe Pitt will struggle in a particular area or even not win.

All I am saying is that It looks strange when a Pitt fan gives a "like" as in "I like what you are saying" to a post that is predicting Pitt will get blown out and then states, "I think the offensive regression will continue."

Had you just replied to his post Without a "like" and said something like "I am worried about the same thing" and added this guy :confused:Or maybe this guy  then it wouldn't have seemed so strange.

Think of it from the perspective of a Pitt player like Boyd or Holtz who is working his tail off and making us all proud (or even a potential recruit who is on the fence) and then he looks at this board and sees that one Panther fan "liked" another Panther fan who is predicting a blow out win for Notre Dame.

I always like hearing your thoughts and I now realize you didn't mean it to come across the way I took It.

LET'S GO PITT!!!

"hilltoppanther, post: 487364, member: 96"]I am probably breaking the rules by doing this, but this game is going to go one of two ways. Either Pitt wins a close one or gets beat by 3 touchdowns.
Pitt 24
ND 20
or
ND 41
Pitt 21
Congrats, came the closest on your second pick!

35-17 Pitt - we shock the world and Jester Weah has a breakout game a la Baldwin

Jester Weah might as well have gone to Fatheads and sat at the bar stuffing his face with wings......

Remind me to bet the exact opposite of your next prediction.
