Honestly I was surprised.

I wonder what the breakdown is was in the mid 70s and early 80s.

I’d imagine the ratio would’ve been the same back then. IMO, the difference is the decline in overall talent in Western PA. There’s not enough to fill an entire class with them like you could back in the day, let alone split it with PSU, WVU, OSU, etc.
