I've gone back and forth with this but I say Pitt was the worse loss. We were at home, playing a mediocre St. Francis team we were favored to beat by 15.5 points. And it wasn't close. They led the whole way even by 20 freaking points!!

Granted #4 UVA losing to a bad San Francisco team is awful too. But for me they lost by 1 not 10 and they have a great coach and are talented enough to bounce back and have a good season. Pitt on the other hand is not coached well and the talent isn't great.

So I say Pitt's loss was worse.

For me it’s Pitt. Simply because they were never even in the game. Never made a run that made anyone think - ok maybe they can pull this out. They had their asses handed to them by an NEC team who I don’t believe is supposed to do anything in their own conference.

Pitt’s loss was worse because they were never in the game from the beginning, while UVA/USF was a back and forth affair.

Other than that pretty much a wash I guess as San Francisco is probably a lot better than St Francis, but we also know Virginia is a lot better than Pitt.

UVA. Nobody across the country gives a Shite about the Pitt loss so it has zero importance. UVA losing is a different story.

When it’s all said and done, based off the last few seasons, Virginia’s loss will likely look like a fluke. They’ll win the majority of their games

Pitt’s loss is likely a sign of another season of crappy basketball
