At one point in time while in the Big East, the Pitt staff was always able to find underrated guards who were tough and fearless. Those guards set the tone on the perimeter and contributed for four years.
Things have gotten away from that plan a bit, but a guard from Richmond (Va.) could be a prospect who fits that mold.
