Not a bad half. Rebounding was a big disappointment. We played lazy and didn't take our opponent seriously in that first half outside the close. 5 players on our team failed to get 1 defensive rebound in that half.
Really liked what I saw from Guillermo in that half. 5 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 1 block and was quite active with ball deflections on defense and on the glass. Fede better wake up or he's going to become real good friends with the team bench game after game. I want to see Guillermo get more shots in this offense, he is shooting 56% for the season and 41% from 3 this season.
Still want to see quite a bit more dribble penetration from Lowe. Another game where he has made crisp passes off of dribble penetration without getting rewarded with the assists for players missing open shots. I want to see him attack the basket.

Anyone else who can’t stand that asinine Bojangles ad with the kid home from college? The Dad dancing because he’s obviously extremely ecstatic over processed fast food chicken bites? LOL

Its not going to show up in the box score, but Lowe has played quite well today. He has 2 assists and should have at least 6 assists. 3 blown layups by Pitt on laser passes from Lowe, including a terrible miss by Leggett. I would like to see his minutes extended to close out this game and see how he finishes. This has not been Carrington's day.
Lowe should play alot more. He has been calm. When he drives to the hoop he is good.
When Pitt has a bad day at the free throw line there’s always someone that says they should spend more than me practicing free throws. SC State looks like a team that spends way too much time practicing free throws.
Lowe and Jeffrees had very good games. Lowe is quickly becoming my favorite Panther player. His potential is through the roof.
