While everyone on the basketball speculates the next Big Move for Pitt Basketball Head Coach and I am glad they are following it because I have no clue and just put a few Polls, but still no clue. I prefer posting some info on Pitt Football and sharing the link with the Lair. Good read on how it is going at Spring Ball, Boy I enjoy listening to Narduzzi talk, teach, and inform how he goes about his coaching.
Excerpts & Link:

Actually, coach Pat Narduzzi's defense puts heat on all its cornerbacks, often locking them up in one-on-one confrontations with wide receivers. That might be the reason he recruited three in this year's freshman class: Central Catholic's Damar Hamlin, Brashear's Therran Coleman and Henry Miller of Kissimmee, Fla.....
.......Carefully choosing Pitts' successor should be a priority. Pitt has road games next season against Oklahoma State, Clemson, Miami and North Carolina. All were ranked among the top 34 passing offenses in the nation last season, led by No. 7 Oklahoma State.......
......Notes: Pitt hired former Tennessee at Martin athletic director Julio Freire to be deputy athletic director for external affairs. He will be responsible for fundraising, ticket sales, marketing, branding, multimedia rights, licensing and merchandising. ... Freshman wide receiver Gentry Ivery, a 2015 recruit from Mansfield, Texas, left the program.

Good article thanks for posting. Appears on paper that We have plenty of talented options to choose from and in this style of defense we're going to need them

Agree, and reading in between the Lines of the quotes by the coaches I see it as a warning to current DBs that much talent is coming in August and one better show and work hard on how they can earn that position.....or they may choose going with younger talent???? Just a guess on my part but one wonders why Jordan Whitehead was not mention that much either. I am wondering if they will use him more on Offense this year now as well as Defense? I don't follow it as close as before and expect others to post better Info.

There are many more Lair Posters on the Premium Board that know far more details on Pitt Players, Coaches and Systems and Chris Peak does that kind of Info too.

I hope that both CB positions are completely open. If one of the incoming freshmen (or upperclassmen) beat out Maddox, so be it.

I think Henderson who early enrolled not this year but last year has a really shot at one of the starting gigs, showed some promise through spring training last year and looks good in practice
