Since surveillance testing of students began Aug 12th, Pitt has randomly test 1,225 students at the Pittsburgh campus with only 2 positive results. Again, this is surveillance testing (not total student testing) of randomized asymptomatic students, but that is fairly encouraging.

At Bradford and Greensburg have had no positive results, while UPJ has had one.

The total tests (including surveillance) thus far since August 1st are 14 positive students with 11 current students in isolation. Pitt students have thus far avoided UNC or Notre Dame like flair ups.

So this doesn’t include the kids that felt sick and got tested (or athletes and what not)? Just the ones from the random selections?

Total numbers includes those who got tested on their own (symptomatic). The surveillance numbers do not. See the above link for the full report.
