Pitt @ SU highlights

Awesome. I had forgotten there was even a game yesterday.

I like Brown. I think we could be so much better if we could depend on 10 points per game from him. It's mystifying how he has played so well against big & tall FSU and then in other games he kind of disappears.

Femi really looks good.

Brown certainly destroyed Dolezaj late in the game yesterday.

For all of their size the Cuse played a very finesse, soft, perimeter-oriented game.

Maybe that’s what HCJC was able to impress on the undermanned Pitt team at halftime? That they could do that to SU. Because Pitt was the far more aggressive, physical and determined-looking team in the 2H yesterday. Pitt hammered the Orange on the glass on both ends. And yes, while Pitt finally made some outside shots, they also punished SU on the inside. Brown was a key part of that.

Yes, we killed them on the boards. There is no excuse for that with their size other than the fact that Cuse played so soft. I have to say, it is a welcome site to see us be a good rebounding team again. For 15 years we were really good, then it dropped to bad.

Also, the number of bad shots Syracuse took yesterday was mind boggling. I can't believe how many stupid deep shots (especially Girard) took, early in the shot clock, while trying to hold a lead. I can't believe Boeheim kept allowing them to do it, too!

That was great -- thank you.

One of the things I particularly enjoyed was watching the Pitt bench. Because of the distanced seats far away from the court, it's great to watch the players standing and jumping with each shot.

William Jeffress was particularly excited.
