They talked about this on the CBS Pod. Pitt is #8 since March 1. Also #20 since Jan 19. They had an ACC guy on and they were trying to make sense of what's going on. The ACC guy made a good observation. He said ACC teams, outside of UVa, dont rely on defense to win and that its more free-flowing. Said Josh Pastner said the ACC is more of an NBA style. The ACC guy said something like look at Miami last year as a 5 seed, so what, they had bucket getters. Said look at Pitt, they have ballers.
And I always say that Wake was uber talented. Not sure there were 10 teams with better offensive talent than they had. They and Pitt both could have gone on a run and made the Final Four.
