Will we keep it under 20? This is where is typically gets out of hand. Need to hear EXACTLY what we need to do to make the tournament after this one, even though we've not beat a decent team yet.
This team doesn't share the ball at all. It's all one on one
Guillermo now has 10 points, 4 rebounds, 4 blocks, and 2 steals in 22 minutes of action.

This game is following the same pattern of all of our losses. Completely wilting. Can't keep it close.
He has 4 blocks and 2 steals. You know, the guards and wings responsibility is to contain dribble penetration and not get consistently beat off the dribble.
North Carolina is shooting 36 % this game and 31% from 3. Our team defense has been ranked in the national top 30 the last 10 games. The issue today is our 3 point shooting which we are 3-26. And Blake Hinson is the other major issue.
Defense wasn't awful tonight. Man, the non-conference schedule left me think we had some shooters. When the competition level rose, I'm realizing how wrong I was. I thought this team may shoot its way to a few wins, but, that seems unlikely now. Any team that is capable of playing tight on ball D will make our team a member of the Mason's Union.
We are depending and riding on 2 freshmen and a sophomore big man to try to beat the #8 team in the country. The trio of Carrington, Guillermo, and Lowe scored 40 of our teams 54 points tonight. The rest of our roster chose to not show up tonight.
We are closer to the bottom than the top. Hopefully Jason doesn’t make a buffoon of himself again postgame

We have one good 3-point shooter and teams are laser-focused on stopping him. He doesn't have an Elliott, Sibande and Cummings around him anymore to space the floor and help him get open looks.

The team I took over had 22 straight years of 5 or less wins. Pretty comparable to a team coming off an NCAA appearance imo. Def should make it personal Einstein 😉

Fede doesn't even need to be guarded more than 4 feet from the hoop. That's amazing. He was standing wide open in the paint with the basketball, and actually shooting it didn't even occur to him as an option.
Jorge... I mean I guess he had to stay if you want to keep Guillermo, but there's another wasted scholarship.

I’m not bashing Pitt. We suck. I’m speaking the truth, as is everyone else who is watching this team? What should I say?

Never said we are good at this point but continuing to rant like u do about Capel etc shows your true character. Having Dior dismissed 3 days before the fall semester and Kante not playing really hurt. NC finally beat us and now all is doom and gloom. Would've loved to finally meet u.
The roster is poorly constructed. His fault he kept a criminal on the team while awaiting a title 9 decision? Don’t know, don’t really blame him but he doesn’t help this team. Santos would look a lot better than Jeffress right now. Kante getting hurt didn’t matter until Fede and GDG weren’t developed enough, but are we the first team to deal with injuries.
Why does you knowing who I am (while I have no clue who you are) preclude me from talking to people on here about this team? I’ve been in every game thread this year. I didn’t pop in today. I have been to as many games as I could go to. I’ll continue to go. Why does only my opinion offend you? It’s honestly weird behavior.
