Paco, what are the chances our vaccine is the "one?"

The Beijing vaccine candidate is in Phase 2 trials now. There are two others in the US from pharmaceutical companies that are in Phase 1. There are 67 others in pre-clinical development. Pitt is involved with two candidates in pre-clinical development. So somewhere around 2/69 or worse.

I have to say, though, the microneedle delivery system is cool. But incorporating new device technology could slow down development depending on how familiar the FDA is with it.

Really, I have no idea.
