VT? They were defending short fields the entire night - couple that with being on the field virtually the entire game - the D wasn’t the issue last week!

What people need to do now, is to sit back and honestly reflect on why we lost today...
Hint: It ain’t JUST Kenny Pickett..
fixed it for you... Kenny is not the only reason Pitt lost tonight, but he is definitely... 100% part of the reason... and part of the reason Pitt lost the other 4 games this season.
10 quarters without a td passBall in right spot, WR screwed up on interception per analyst ... BUT BUT BUT....ITS KENNY’S FAULT!
So long as you think the goal of a qb is to set up fg attemptsComplete lack of concentration on both sides of the ball. Kenny actually fine today except that INT, he had another WR wide open. Defense getting manhandled.
0 tdKenny Pickett
30 for 39
323 yards
1 INT
What would his numbers look like if we had WR’s who could hang on to the ball?
HE CAN’T BE PERFECT!!!!!!
We are statistically an awful offense along with being Being one of the most penalized teams.Statistically we are the worst team in NCAA for dropped passes. Let that sink in. How can an offense be effective with that stat.
4 turnovers today killed this team. Penalties killed this team. Dropped passes killed this team. Poor blocking killed this team. Missed tackles killed this team.
what about the Duke game? Led us to a TD with less than 2:00 minutes in the game?
What about the UCF game? Led us to a comeback win...
What about the comeback win in OT against UNC???
Those were games Pitt won, and yes Kenny deserves a good bit of credit in those victories, just as he deserves a good bit of blame for losses against Virginia, PSU, Miami, VT and the BC. He also deserves some blame in a few other games where Pitt eked out a win.
Again, the reason for Pit’s losses are not on Kenny Picket alone... they are Kenny’s poor performance and... poor performances by the WRs, TEs, RBs and OL and the OC.
