Should be a Toss Up Win and another close one mainly due to Duke's Coach Cutcliffe having his Team ready for every game. Duke's QB Daniel Jones will have a big game like all QB's have had this year. The Pitt Offense was ready last week as we all know, but a letdown could happen, as ND & UNC learned, taking Duke lightly until it was too late. However, the Pitt defense may actually be ready to come around but won't know until seen? The Pitt Offense is humming and Special Teams usually plays a role for both Pitt and Duke in most games. Duke needs to win just get to 6 Wins and Bowl Game if it wins it next game too? A Bushwhack by Duke is not out of the question. Panther's minds are on Cloud Nine much like the Fan Base. I know I am and have been here before just after a Big Win and then a deep disappointing Defeat???
Prediction at the Link:

When: Saturday, Nov. 19 – 3:00 p.m. ET
Where: Heinz Field, Pittsburgh, PA
TV Broadcast: ACC Extra
The Panthers (6-4, 3-3 ACC)
The Blue Devils (4-6, 1-5 ACC)

Advantages

Offense: Pitt. This is a well-balanced attack, and it’s one of the better ones in the ACC when Peterman plays turnover-free.

Defense: Duke. The Panthers are allowing a whopping 343.4 yards per game through the air.

Special Teams: Even. Both teams have very good kick returners, as Duke’s Wilson and Pitt’s Quadree Henderson could be X-Factors in a close contest.

Coaching: Even. Cutcliffe is the perfect head coach for the Duke program, while Narduzzi is coming off of his signature win with the Panthers.

Intangibles: Even. Both teams are coming off of upset victories over ranked teams.

Matchup To Watch

Peterman vs. Duke secondary
Peterman was impressive last week against the Tigers, especially because he showed a lot of poise against a Clemson pass rush led by Carlos Watkins. He finished 22-of-37 passing for 308 yards with five touchdowns and zero interceptions. He was also interception-free last year against Duke, which is allowing 224.4 yards per contest through the air. Peterman will be looking to help the Pitt offense finish strong and get into a higher-caliber bowl game.

Betting Odds
Spread: Pitt -6.5
Over/Under: 62

In the spirit of playing Duke, I just heard Dookie V on TV during the Kentucky Michigan State basketball game try to talk college football and referred to Pitt as a "mediocre team" yet Iowa as a "pretty good team". Dear god, stick to basketball. Actually, don't even do that.

In terms of the actual game, just hoping for no let down after such an emotional win.

There will be a letdown, injuries and probably rainy, quiet stadium. Cutliffe always a challenge and Duke still playing for a bowl.
But Narduzzi, Canada fight off 'same ole pitt' this time-

Pitt 36
Duke 30

I would like to see just once this year, Pitt leading by Half-Time by 40 Points, and then the Offense playing many Back-Ups at QBs, RBs, TEs, WRs, and OLs.The Vets Starters could use a break to heal.

The Defense still needs all the game time it can get to learn better execution.

I would like that but not one game has done that to date, but if not in Duke or Cuse maybe the Bowl Game at least in 4th Quarter? This is my wish but leave it up to the Coaches that know!

After looking at each team stats.. I was surprised that Duke has just a few yds more than Peterman, they only have 14 passing TDs vs 9 Ints.... Not the powerhouse passing team I thought... but they beat UNC and have played close with alot of teams...
Pitt 38
Duke 28

Well, Pat Narduzzi’s earned his second superb signature win. Now the Panthers are the thorn in the side of playoff-bound teams in Penn State & Clemson. ;)

Pitt’s Players on offense are not just on Cloud Nine but love having pure fun and have not been stopped by any Team except themselves in Miami? Duke is coming in well prepared but the Panthers want James Conner to break ACC TDs Records. Maybe the Blue Devils will key on him, but Canada knows that too? If Cancer could not stop Conner's neither will the Blue Devils.

If anyone wants to see Class Acts on Heinz Field on Saturday with lumps coming to your throats just watch how Duke's Cutcliffe & His Duke Players embrace and greet James Conner before, during, and after the Game.....and watch James give them Pitt's Conner's Class right back! Again, you won't regret going to see it in person! :)

I hate going against the Great Shamus Vegas Boys & Gals, but the Panthers are prime for another good time, and Peterman, Orndoff, Hall, Henderson, Parrish, O'Neil, Ashton, Weah, Matthews, Ffrench, Moss, Ford, and many more are going to have a run away day with some nice offensive numbers, on finally a big blow out game.
68 PITT Duke 28! :D

EVERYBODY PLAYS IN THIS GAME & DEFENSE SCORES TOO! :p

PITT POST SCRIPT:
PITT Big Potential Bushwhacked Game Will Be Cuse.....BEWARE BABER'S ORANGE BIG BOYS!....Cuse has a way to catch Panthers when not expecting it, seen it too many time before, and that is what the Panthers should prepare for, the Blue Devils, are more "Blue" than casting spells of gloom and doom since Duke's Cutcliffe knows James Conner is immune!

Don't worry about Duke Blue Devils they will whip our Panthers in Basketball as we will whip the Blue Devils on Saturday!

Barnes Lack of Brains requiring Consultant's Conflicts will just be another poor "REPEAT-DERSON", but just in Basketball!

WVU IS OU OVERDUE:
Oklahoma will Blow Out WVU Too! Mountain Mama's Will Hunt Down Holgrosen Again & The Buckskin Babes Will Try To Skin Dana For Not Dating Them? Just a Hunch! o_O

RUTGERS GETS THE RUNS BY PSU:
Rutgers will scare Penn State but McSorley & Barkely will run and pass all over them, until one or both get hurt? Just A Guess!

Pitt tossed one gorilla off its back last Saturday at Clemson. Just as important is that mischievous little spider monkey called Duke, otherwise known as The Chance To Take Two Steps Forward. Take care of bizniz, Panthers. I'm looking forward to the gales of November on Saturday at Heinz.

This PITT team appears far more focused than teams in the past, who likely sleep-walk through the first half only to come up short in a second half attempt at coming back. While the defense will feel the losses of players like Whitehead, Jarrett, and potentially Watts, I look forward to watching Taleni and Mitchell continue their strong second half performances against Clemson last week.

If PITT wins the toss, please take the ball first. The game last week should be an indicator of how much pressure scoring first can put on the opposition. No more slow starts, this team needs to come out sprinting from the opening whistle.

PITT: 41
Duke: 28

I see the following as a concern or a blessing to see more Back-Ups playing and will stay with my prediction.
Notes: Eight players were declared doubtful or out on the Pitt injury report released Thursday. Out are:
running back Chawntez Moss,
safety Jordan Whitehead,
wide receiver Zach Challingsworth (upper extremity);
wide receiver Tre Tipton (upper body),
cornerback Phillipie Motley (lower extremity)
linebacker Elijah Zeise (lower body).
Doubtful are:
defensive tackles Tyrique Jarrett,
Amir Watts (lower extremity).

Price's impact will be significant because Narduzzi is concerned with Duke redshirt freshman quarterback Daniel Jones, 6-foot-5, 210 pounds. Jones has thrown for 2,277 yards (with nine interceptions) and run for 469. “Daniel Jones is going to be a quarterback we don't want to play against for the next three years,” he said. Pitt should be accustomed to confronting good players. Sports Illustrated listed the top quarterback prospects in next year's NFL Draft, and four played against the Panthers — No. 1 Deshaun Watson of Clemson, No. 3 Mitch Trubisky of North Carolina, No. 6 Brad Kaaya of Miami and No. 7 Mason Rudolph of Oklahoma State............“I think we've done a lot of good things this year against a lot of good teams,” Narduzzi said.

I haven't seen anyone pick Duke straight up outside of here?

I like Pitt in this one because I think they grew up as a team last week, they get this game at home which should help them avoid a let down, and because I am a blatant homer.

Pitt 44 Duke 21

James Conner continues to destroy Duke. 220+ yards and 4 TD

The weather should make it more difficult to pass which helps us.

Pitt - 34
Duke - 24

Without whitehead and Jarrett I can't see us covering the spread. Favored by 8 I say was squeak out a 41-38 win

Well, based where I am at right now the Weather is turning rainy, windy, and colder and I think that should favor Pitt Ground Game, Short Passing Game, and even on Defense.

I agree this is the time for a Full Pitt Attitude Change to start winning games Pitt should win big, and also win games against Top Ranked Competition that have been close, and it will show up in Players Confidence every game now and head into 2017 that way next year too. The rebuilding of winning 8 Games now takes the next step to go 9 and 10, and then consistent winning for years that way!
This Coaching Staff & Players have become a Family and they are hungry every game as they prepare too!
We shall see?
