I love the righteous indignation of the announcers afterwards. It was perfect.
Too bad it was marred by that moment.
Especially since earlier in the game, they were giggling like school girls as 80 thousand righteous ND fans were chanting "ASSHOLE, ASSHOLE....." after a miraculous bad call against their Irish.
Let's hope KP mirrors TP's excitement after a big win.

Great game, might be one of my favorite Pitt games of all time, the whole combination of the opponent, the stakes, the venue and then Palko loving his F'ing team, just awesome

We were wearing our PItt attire, and before the game, everyone was so gracious and friendly.
After the game, not so much.
Riding the bus back to the parking area we felt like we should turn our shirts inside out.
The Domers were totally out of control over a call they didn't like.
Fast forward to the phantom PI call against PItt and things tend to even out.
Actually pretty amazing getting a call in South Bend.
Doesn't happen very often.

I was there as well. It was the last road trip with my mom and dad. Dad passed the following spring. Although he was not moving super well by that point he bounded out of that stadium with a spring in his step and a huge grin on his face. Great weekend.
As I recall, it wasn't even a bad call. It was one of those 50/50 deals. Certainly nothing akin to the many calls that have turned sure Panther victories into losses against the Irish over the years.

I remember walking out of the stadium that game and all the irish fans thought that they were getting Meyer. I kid you not the cop stopping traffic to let the crowd cross the street was even yelling "urban time." Im like "dude, you are a cop, what are you doing."
At that time all you heard was ND was Meyer's dream job. It was sort of a shock to some when he took the Florida job. Just like when I started school at Ohio State the jagoffs in the dorm saying "Lou Holtz said Ohio State is the only school he'd coach at."

Are you talking about the conference alignment?
It wasn't too bad, but a lot of historical rivalries disappeared.
Still have Burrell and Deer Lakes but that's it from the old days.
Freeport had a young scrappy team last year and lost 3 close conference games.
It is a section they can compete in, doubt anyone will dominate it.
They did well in other sports.
Heard they may realign it again, eliminate at least one of the categories.
