A couple weeks ago it looked like Pitt would struggle to make the NIT and it looked like WVU had a shot at a top 2 or 3 seed. As the thread below discussed, I believe we have a solid chance of making the NCAA. If we win 1 of the next 3, I'll feel pretty good about our chances. WVU has the opposite issue. They stunk out the joint in the past 2 games and the schedule looks a bit daunting from here with games against Iowa State, 2 against Kansas, Baylor on the road, Texas (who beat them once already). RIght now they are 17-5 and 6-4 in the B12. They could lose 6 of their last 8 for a final record of 19-11 (8-10). Doesn't sound like an NCAA team.
Pitt & WVU heading in different directions?
