I posted earlier in another thread on here that living in eastern PA, I am unfamiliar with
Filliponi, the FAN, and other western PA announcers and outlets. I admit I haven't heard any of
their reports, but if they didn't think Pitt showed up today (after
losing a few in a row) then they're blind, deaf, and dumb.... or worse.
Pitt outplayed, outworked, out hustled, and basically willed their way to a win in a very, very tough atmosphere.
I've been critical of our play recently and thought maybe our players "packed it in" and were maybe just
playing out the season. Pitt looked like the team we saw earlier in the year, and it wasn't because the Cuse
isn't good. They've been on a roll recently (since Boheim returned) and were favored to win today.
Not sure what those announcers are thinking, but I can't comprehend that they're not supporting the
local team and recognizing today's win for what it is. I guess I'm lucky I can't tune in and listen to em even if I wanted to LOL.
