No. Duzz is shrewd, he has Pitt in a tight spot with his contract and he knows it. Wonder what he's writing in his notepad? It's this: "$$$...lol "
Can we offend him by making him take classes on football theory and basic arithmetic?
Can we annoy him by suggesting he only takes what he is worth (about $45K) and donates the rest of his paycheck to the player salaries pool?
Can we tell him we no longer allow our coaches to sit there and scribble into a notepad during the game like a 3-year-old?
Can we stop paying for janitorial services at the facilities and make him start mopping the floors (his true calling)?
Seems absurd to me to keep trudging along while watching this goober tank the program. He does nothing well. People talk about not supporting the Pirates under Nuttings' ownership; well, supporting Pitt while they employ this bone-in-nose-having Neanderthal is officially augmenting the problem.
I hear you. Only idea I have is to hire someone like AVP, Tino, or ? as "assistant head coach". Maybe that will piss Duzz's ego off enough to want out.
