So, watching the second half of the Pitt game from a bar after paying $130 per ticket for me and my brother to sit in the nose bleed seats. We got kicked out by security at half time after getting harassed by penn state fans and called homosexual names for a half and all we said was “say that to us outside after the game”, then we were told “sit the **** down” by a 40 some year old female Pitt fan. They sent the sharifs to our seats all based on the millennial Penn State fans word and escorted us out of the stadium. We’ve been Pitt fans since 1988 and have been season ticket holders for many years but this will be the last time we ever step foot inside Heinz stadium again. I asked the sharifs what we didn’t wrong and he stated that “you’re not allowed to stand up in the stadium”, and treated us like we were serial killers as we got escorted out by about 4 Sherriifs all in the words 20 year old penn state fans looking to come into Pitts territory and cause as much havoc as possible. So after many years of going to games and cheering on Pitt I will never walk into Heinz field again in my life. And the city wonders why they can’t draw decent crowds. I’d love to see what would happen if I walked into a penn state game trying to get their fans kicked out. This was a big F U Pittsburgh and their college team. I will never see you again live again in my lifetime. Peace
