This article was incredibly frustrating to read. It just shows the complete failure of oline recruiting, coaching, and strategy with numbers.
I completely understand that oline recruiting is basically as hard as it gets, the only thing tougher might be QB recruiting but this is only compounded by the fact that in a lot of these classes we took TWO LINEMAN, that is insane!
We know Pitt can't compete with the big boys in terms of NIL and the going rate for a starting caliber LT is out of reach/unrealistic. We have to recruit and develop our own, we should be taking a minimum of 5 high school OL each and every year.
I am sorry but this is just pure incompetence on the coaching staff. What a disaster.
