The Pickett Fake Slide will go down as the play of the season for the 2021 Panthers. It just has to. It's the memorable play that will always be brought up when we talk about it.

What are the plays of other Pitt seasons?

For me, 2016 was the Ryan Lewis interception against Penn State (closely followed by the Blewitt kick against Clemson). 2017 is the Pickett dive TD on 4th against Miami, 2018 is probably the Ollison Flip play against Virginia Tech although other candidates could include Ollison getting the 4th Down against Wake Forest or anything V'Lique Carter did against Duke.

2019... is maybe the Mack catch against EMU? Or the EMU QB punching the ref?

Give me some other years. I'm thinking 97 is the Pistol Pete pass to beat WVU

I disagree.

I think Jordan's rip-away-from-the-defender catch to win the Virginia game was the play of the year.

2016 was Conner's forearm of death against Clemson to score a TD after Bright's INT.

2000 - Rod Rutherford's huge reception/run in the 12-0 game.

2001 - David Priestley's naked bootleg for something like 90 yards in the first game (and first event ever) at Heinz Field.

2002 - Fitzgerald's amazing grab in the Insight Bowl against Oregon State

Prime Walt years were a lot of fun. At least on offense.

2006 - Derek Kinder taking out 2 Hoopies with one block to spring Revis for a punt return TD.
