Wish SM Fan would stop already! Support the team anyway we can. Coach Narduzzi and company have us heading in the right direction.
It's simple the bowls picked the teams although I live here in NC and would loved the Belk Bowl it's not where we ended up MOVE ON.
I support the team the best I can and plan on making the trip or buying tix and give them to someone.

This year loaded up on new gear, went to UVA Game, Duke Game and bought 6 tix and donated them for the UNC Game!

That's a good article. Bookmarking for next year.

Piss poor reporting. No mention at all about Barnes selling out Pitt or the ACC throwing them under the bus. Just facts about what really went down. [sarcasm, of course].

Chris Peak gave an excellent synopsis on the Pitt Bowl Selection on the Lair radio that can be found on the Home Page. It was fair, accurate, and with realities and facts, and explains the entire process an disconsolate many myths that misinformation often causes!

I am happy we are playing Ranked 10-2 Navy and the game is by no means a given Win! Pitt Players and Coaches will have to earn it!

Can't wait to watch the Pinstripe and all the Duke fans in the stands. After being in Durham and seeing all the empty seats in their own stadium, I find the whole concept of an "alumni base" in the NY area who support FOOTBALL very funny.

Pinstripe adds Pitt-PSU, Pitt-WVU, Pitt- Navy does better than Duke-Indiana!

As others have noted, that just reeks of an alumni in the right place making it happen ...

What I gather from all of this is Pitt will need to have at least 9 wins in future in order to keep from getting jobbed by the bowls as they prefer southern teams that are closer. Selling tickets is priority #1 to them so with Pitt's poor travel record we will always be on the outside looking in. Hopefully the commitment of the University toward football will help build a larger base so this not as much a concern in the future.
