I miss going to New York for the Big East Tournament. Yesterday a friend who travels with me surprised me by saying that she hopes Pitt does not get invited to the NCAA tourney so that we can go see them in NYC in the NIT. I think that is crazy because there is no guarantee that they would make it that far in the NIT and there is much more prestige and money involved in an NCAA appearance. IF it was certain that Pitt would make the semi-finals in the NIT and play at Madison Square Garden, would you rather see that happen than see Pitt lode in the first round of the NCAAs?
