Yeah, I think he has that backwards. Their board is like the batshit crazy Scientologist haven and this board is more likely to tell it like it is, which is what Remini does about the wacko Scientologists.
I think that's the right answer. If people want to discuss the game or college football in general and are doing it in a respectful manner then let them stay, no matter what school they root for. If they are going to be obnoxious and are only here to stir things up then get rid of them.

I say enforce the rules, but lets be honest, they're not always enforced. You always say the free board is a different breed and you let them get into it with PSU fans. So if the options are 1.) delete all posts Pitt/PSU posters posts not related to football that are soley there to bait the opposing team, rhen yes go for that. If the option is to selectively delete....then I say just do a complete ban because I don't think the selective delete is enforced enough. I come here for recruiting and Pitt talk, not to go back and forth about Penn State.
In fairness to the mods at BWI the ones that I know are ok. It's some of the jackass posters that go out of their way to tell on people. They also claim they don't care about Pitt and proceed to start a thread about it.

Not sure if that could be done since your log in is to all of Rivals, not just here at Pantherlair.
Again, when I tried to post on the Kentucky board back in 2006, I had to submit my post for approval, even though I had been here since 2004 (I chose not to bother)
So yes, I think it can be done.
I voted as long as it's civil, let them be here. No harm in that. But I think it should be that way all of the time, especially after the game. If they happen to win, some of them could get disgustingly obnoxious. Their lives revolve around their stupid football team. If they're here then and being trolls, ban them permanently.
Not disagreeing, obviously Chris would have to set up a system for approval. Not sure this is on the table for the free board, especially just for this week.
Having said that, if Pitt should lose, I think this board will blow up from not just PSU fans, but our own too.
