To be updated, but should surely go up with covering the spread by 20.

Some random shooting stats
AD now 6/15 or 40% from 3
Cummings now 14/34 or 41.1% from 3 (hopefully continues; given he was own of the few to actually show up against MsST, I am hopeful)
JDG now 7/14 or 50% from 3 - really not sure how to best use this dude as he is either on or off from 3
GDG - 9/46 from 3 or worse than Jeffres, Santos, just mind boggling….it will take a pretty significant effort to get to 30% for the year, but can be done, or else he needs benching.

I doubt we get much from Delalic this year outside of a short splash here and there, but you can just see that he has a high level of skill and athleticism. Contrast that to GDG, who did contribute quite a bit as a freshman, but always looked like Bambi on ice in doing so.

Yes, the question is does he ever get a breakout game? He has hit a three in every game except 2. One of those he didn’t attempt a 3. But maybe he needs a night like Cummings had tonight to get more confidence. The camera did not show his one 3 pt tonight, only the miss earlier.

We were at the game and heard Coach setting him up for a shot when Pitt was taking the ball out for an out of bounds play. It worked to perfection. Swish!

None of us at home saw it. But you could here it a very quick play!

I thought GDG criticism was off limits after last game. Did four shots change things that much?
14 shots. 0-4 and 6-8 and 1-2. They don’t need him throwing up 3s to be helpful. 4-4 from the inside with 2-2 from the line would be a big help with his rebounding. GDG 3’s need to go to Cummings and Amsal.

I'm saying he was 0 for 4 last night.

For what it's worth, I think this team needs to get Dunn back and play small ball with Lowe-Leggett-Dunn-Austin-Cohren. I see no other choice.

Bambi on ice….what an apt description of GDG’s play at times!

FWIW, I think we can be thought of as #23 in Torvik.

On the filters at the top, under TYPE, select "Regular Season" instead of "All" as I believe this filters out any remaining preseason bias (which will eventually completely go away anyway.)

I know the Miss St game was a bummer but these metrics are awesome. So thankful Capel figured out the schedule thing this year.

I mean, part of it is winning too. They are 3-2 vs q1/2 through 11 games. Last year they were 0-2 through 11 games.

Despite the blow-out loss to them-- KenPom today has #26 Pitt (20.37) barely ahead of #27 Mississippi State (20.34). Strange how those computer numbers work!
