I saw this too. To show you how bad and utterly useless the preseason polls are...of the 11 of the 25 that the AP writers "got right", most of them were gimmies. Georgia, Bama, Ohio State, and Clemson were four of the 11; they finish in the top 25 every year. And Notre Dame and Oklahoma were two more, there virtually every year. Cincinnati and Oregon were part of the remaining five, so were Iowa and Utah. Only Louisiana was less that obvious.
