Again this idea has probably been discussed ad nauseam on here -- but especially in such a huge and wide-open stadium like Heinz that doesn't keep in the band's acoustics that great -- why not just augment the Pitt Band's sound and add a little 'juice' to it by mic'ing them up?
The Seattle Seahawks shamelessly pump-up the real crowd noise and it creates such a sick atmosphere.
High School Football up to College Football -- the marching bands bring so much and truly part of the marrow of the game. Pitt pumping-up our Marching Band and making that a focal part of the Live Home Game Experience I think would bring a ton of Pitt Spirit to Gameday.
