Didnt seem like Capel and company went after him that much. Hope we get to see the Panthers play the Nits before Puff leaves
 
He certainly doesn’t match his own hype but does seem like the type of player who will be a pretty good college starter by his 4th or 5th year in college.
 
I didnt think he was a take for Pitt but I would have trusted the staff if they took him. Had a couple good games in the Final Four but did just about nothing else at UNC. I think he'll be an average to below average starter for PSU. They could have done worse.

yeah he seemed like the next big thing during that final four run then quickly fell into oblivion.

You have to wonder if the drama with the old man was the reason Capel and company didn’t pursue him that aggressively

I also think that Capel learned a bit from his first few years and this past year. Fit and attitude are perhaps more important than overall talent. You hear Duzz talk about fitting into the culture all the time

Until they resume playing us in football (and they won't, obviously), I wouldn't schedule them in any sport. Screw 'em.
