Ryan Tannehill - 36.6 million
Prescott - 26.8 million
Lamar Jackson 22.1 million
Russ Wilson - 22 million
Watson - 19 million
Daniel Jones - 15.4 million
Zach Wilson - 9.6 million
Brissett - 8.5 million

Pickett is the 37th highest paid QB (3.2 million). He obviously has a lot of improvement to make, but we are getting a lot of value for a guy who has a 10-4 record. It frees up a lot of money for the rest of the team.

I heard earlier today Purdy’s getting around 900k. That’ll be interesting to keep an eye on.

I think he's a little better than a lot of people give him credit for, too. Like I think people have taken it too far in the "anybody can do what he's doing" direction. There were some accuracy concerns last season, but I've seen him make some really impressive plays.

He seems to make good decisions and puts the ball where it needs to be. He’s surrounded by talent - there’s no question about it - but he’s doing what he needs to do. Will he ever carry a team? Who knows. But I’d say they’re capable of winning it all at the moment.

I don't think Kenny's QB play is necessarily the reason for most of those wins, some of the comebacks, OK but 80% of the game, he's underperforming. Defense is a bigger reason for wins, when offense averages less than 18ppg.

It stays pretty flat until his rookie deal is done at the end of the 2025 season. Guessing he'll get a healthy raise. Only question is if SF decides to try to extend him sooner on the bet that he'll have a franchise type of salary if he were to get close to the open market.

CBA doesn't allow extensions until after 3rd year of rookie deal.

Put Pickett on the niners and purdy on the Steelers. Different results.

Right now I wouldn’t extend Pickett (and in the same measure would not pay whatever they are paying Tribisky or Rudolph). That’s looking like a pretty weak QB room, considering the flaws Pickett shows, yet with the reality that both Tribisky and Rudolph had fair, extended chances each to seize the job before Pickett.

The issue is though, maybe other than Tribisky (who has failed multiple places now, but both were not ideal situation) … who can truly pass judgement on these guys, given the bad supporting cast (especially the coaches) around them?

However, time passes quickly and assuming not much else changes, any of these three guys are not apt to shine … and ultimately their deals will come due. Then what?
