With PIcket coming back there are potentially 5 scholarship QBs on the roster heading into 2021

1. Picket
2. Patti
3. Beville
4. Yellin
5. Yarnell

Patti will be a RS Junior but the rest are all RS Sophs or younger

They will likely add another kid for 2022 so it seems one or more of these guys would look to transfer. Gotta think Patti is at the top of the list. Question is will Beville/Yellin stick it out to spring of 2022.

Yellen seemed to be the clear #2 last year, whether we as fans agree or disagree. That’s how whipple saw it.

Yellen was the clear #2 due to him transferring in....
2021 will be different... for some reason I'm not a fan of Patti maybe he reminds me of Tino... I think Beville will be our #2 with Patti transferring, he has 2 years left and not going to waste another ...

I’d have to guess that some of these guys want to see where they stand after spring camp. Would be great if one guy sort of separated himself as a clear backup.

Honestly, I doubt that happens though and if it does, I guarantee us fans won’t know about it.

I want to see Beville as the backup because he can run some. Not a fan of Yellen because he can’t run; and I don’t know about Patti’s arm, he seems to have an odd release...

Not sure who goes into the stadium early with the exception of this year ? I would encourage to see the warmups, Beville has a Tom Savage arm, his ball has more velocity by far. Spring ball should be pretty competitive...

The potential of Beville and Yellen isn’t even comparable. #2 competition should be between Beville and Patti.

While Yellen has physical limitations, it was pretty easy to see he was the most ready to play. That may change, but Beville has a lot of work to do. He looked like a deer in headlights. I think Patti might be a better than people give him credit for.
