Quandree Henderson still running ...

- Henderson is 5th in the country in All Purpose yards. Henderson is #1 in the country in yards per touch.

-Total misuse of this player so far. Time to get the ball to him a lot more.

But he's fifth in the country and 1st in ypt. You said it yourself. How is that misusing? Sounds like Pitt is using him perfectly.

-He only has 19 total touches in 2 games when all the other guys that are up there with him have twice the touches. If he is racking up explosive play after explosive play, he needs to be touching the ball a lot more. I watched an ASU rb score 8 TD's last night because he kept blowing right through Texas Tech s defense. If you got a player that constantly burns the other team, get him the ball and keep giving it to him until he gets shut down or contained.

Villanova was vanilla offense. Psu game was a run fest. No need to pass. That psu d-line was pathetic.

-Would you rather a player that is averaging 22 yard per touch get the ball, or a Nate Peterman QB sneak. This guy would have Video game stats if he was playing for Oregon. Heck, he's almost there now when we barely use him.

Yes the QB runs were... This bitching over that game in particular is stupid

Psu went into the 2nd half with the plan to stop him and they covered him really well

-Pitt scored 28 points to start the game off. All of Henderson's yards came in the first half. He didnt even touch the ball in the 2nd half. And Pitt's offense, despite penalties and such, stalled in the 2nd half. He averaged 15 yards per run in the first half and didnt get 1 touch in the 2nd half. I find that to be a problem.

Let me ask you a question-how is it "being negative" to be happy we won, yet disappointed that we turned an all out humiliating beatdown of our downtrodden arch-nemesis into a 3 point, white knuckle nailbiter at the end by only scoring 14 second half points against a really bad defense-and had it not been for Henderson's big kick return in the 3rd, the O might have only put one TD up in the entire second half.

We had the chance to bury them but we took our foot of their neck and let them come back to life mostly by going way too predictable and conservative on first down in particular. We sat on our lead and put the game on our D in the second half, which very nearly resulted in disaster.

Cause we won the game we waited 16 years to win... and quite frankly I'm happier than if we won a bowl game and literally the same 5 or 6 people just non stop nitpicking (pun intended)on every move.

No I hated the 2 runs on 3rd and long... hated not having jet sweeps or whitehead in the second half. BUT, any logical person knows there are reasons (don't want a big turnover, whitehead was running alot on December, Penn state made ADJUSTMENTS) . Anyways, I'm sure we wanted to smash it down their throats and hoped they were worn out. They werent... and our conservativism failed us. It happens all the time in football... this isn't neq.

But we won... looked great winning... and shut up all the ped state fans

Quite honestly 10 touches a game for a guy who isn't a starter and is a little speed guy is just about right.

Any assertion that Henderson single handedly won the game is nuts. Ford, whitehead and even orndorff had successful runs too... in addition to the 200 yards from our running backs

One of the reason's we couldn't move the ball in the second half is we had henderson in motion but faked the sweep every time. There is nothing wrong with stating that fact. I was saying the whole second halt that we should give him the ball at least once or twice because they were sitting in the hole waiting for the inside handoff. Pitt absolutely destroyed the Nits with that sweep in the first half.
