I know the guys are training year round. I would assume they're having some sort of film session review periodically during the off season but I'm not certain as to the frequency. I also realize there's a rule that you can't have coaches and players together with a ball present or something to that effect.

Can anyone speak to the amount of engagement coaches can or do have with the kids in the off season periods?

Are there position groups that should naturally progress more than others based on the style of drills that they can perform in the absence of coaches or a ball?

Finally, other than goals that relate to physical conditioning, what markers are coaches looking at from players as they enter camp? Is it an increased awareness of the playbook? Do they get technique assignments in the off season, etc?

If members of the Lair staff or some former player/coaches care to chime in I think it could be helpful as we frame our upcoming conversations with informed perspectives. I appreciate and look forward to your feedback.
