Why are so many Pitt fans hung up on the actual bowl and not paying attention to the opponent?

Navy is ranked 21st at 9-2. They will beat Army this weekend. Pitt will then have a chance to knock off a ranked team as opposed to beating Indiana (who??) or Minnesota.....

When the dust settles.......would 9-4 given Pitt's body of work get them ranked at the end of the season?

I dont know......but 9--4 with a win over that juggernaut Indiana surely does not.

Part of it is Tier 1 v Tier 2, and that it would appear that Pitt got bumped down.
Agree that Navy is a more desirable opponent that Indiana.

No, no, no...this is no time for reasonable thoughts and posts. The ACC sucks. F' the military and all who support them.

Actually, I completely agree. All the bowls past the top 6 or so mean nothing. I would rather be 9-4 of in playing in a lesser bowl. Navy will be a challenge but I would rather see them this year than some crap B1G team. Unless that team happened to be UPS or UW.
