I'm not saying I expect Patti to be our next starting quarterback because I don't know what I expect. But I do think it's weird that pretty much everyone here is counting him out after one start in which we were missing a ton of players on offense.
Also, it seems like people completely forgot that if it wasn't for Patti we might not have beat UCF. He comes into the game cold for his first game action of his career at a very critical point in the game and gets us a touchdown. I've actually never really even seen that brought up on here.
For a redshirt freshman backup quarterback that seems kind of promising to me even if it didn't look the prettiest. He got 2 opportunities this year and got the job done on both.
